New England Plein Air Painters

The 2005 New England Plein Air Painters Paint-Out will take place at the Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum in Bristol, Rhode Island. A portion of the precedes will benefit Bird Conservation Research, Inc.

Saturday July 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. &
Sunday July 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Admission: Adults $10.00, Seniors $8.00

Thompson Lake Field Trips

Bird Conservation Research, Inc. sponsors a monthly field trip to Thompson Lake. The field trip concentrates on finding and identifying native birds. All are welcome to attend.

The Field trips take place the last Sunday of each month, and begin at 7:00 a.m. sharp. All trips begin at the parking lot adjacent to the Thompson Dam. Be sure to bring insect repellant, wear long pants, and wear shoes that can get wet.
